Pierre Kaemmerlen

Pierre P. Kaemmerlen, 64, of Loves Park passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Born June 3, 1951, in Evanston, the son of Irwin J. and Libby (Wolcoff) Kaemmerlen. Lifetime Loves Park resident. Married Diane S. Hennelly. Member of the Downtown Group. He was an avid fishermen, sports fan and mechanic. Pierre loved watching Rocky Balboa movies. Survivors include his wife, Diane; daughter, Samantha Kaemmerlen; sons, Ryan Kaemmerlen, Brad Prince, Corey Carter and JohnBoy; granddaughter, Serenity; mother-in-law, Ginny Hennelly; sisters, Marie Kaemmerlen and Joan Dorland; brother, Jon (Colleen Hennelly) Kaemmerlen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike (Sabra) Hennelly and Dan (Sharon) Hennelly-Dittner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and father-in-law, Collis Hennelly. The family wishes to thank the staff at SwedishAmerican Heart Hospital and Loves Park First Responders.

Memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
