Phyllis J. Kinson, 86, of Rockford, IL, entered heaven on Thursday, February 27, 2025, after a brief illness. Born February 9, 1939, in Morehouse, MO, the daughter of Carlos E. and Elsie V. (Sheeter) Love. She married Kenneth F. Kinson, on July 11, 1979, in Rockford. She loved gardening and traveling. Avid Chicago Bulls Fan. Survivors include her sister, Carla (Fred) Lewis of Tinley Park, IL; brother, Steve Love of Ball, LA; nephew, Andrew (Victoria) Lewis of Vista, CA; niece, Karen (Mark) Turner of Benton, MO; great-nieces, Krista (Justin) Morton of Sikeston, MO, Ashley Taylor of San Francisco, CA; great-great-nephew, Tobias Morton of Sikeston; and great-great-niece, Isabella Taylor of San Francisco. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and brother, Garry Love.
Service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. Burial in New Milford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her name.
