Peter Cesna

Peter G. Cesna, 67, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Born July 20, 1950, in Bobblen, Germany, the son of John and Anna Cesna.  Married Sherry Carlson on July 13, 1993, in Rockford.  Retired from the Rockford Public School District 205.  Peter was a proud truckdriver for 9 years.  He was an avid Chicago Bears and Bulls fan.  Survivors include his wife, Sherry; son, Peter (Kim) Cesna; brothers, Emil (Vickie) Cesna and Dan Kinka; nieces, Emily Cesna and Danielle Kinka; nephew, Christopher Cesna; his beloved pet dog, Lucy; and cat, Bear.  Predeceased by his father; mother, Anna (Cesna) Kinka-Jonelis; and brother, Fred Cesna.  Special thanks to OSF Cancer Care Clinic, the staff at 4-West and Doctor Korkmaz.
