Pauline Saline

Pauline Yvonne Saline, 85, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in her home. Born January 11, 1935, in Rockford, the daughter of Francois and Yvonne (Grayson) Coster. Married Laree Saline. Member of Grace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her friends, working and taking care of her family. Pauline was a hard worker who would set a good example by working hard to get by and show everyone what a good work ethic was. She was a very loving and loyal mother who raised 5 kids. Survivors include her son, David Houy of Rockford; daughter, Tina Jones of New Mexico; grandchildren, Michelle of Madison, Wis., Angela of Texas, Danielle of California, Jamie of Texas, Jonathan of Loves Park and Rebekah of Loves Park; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. Predeceased by her husband; daughter, Paula; sons, Duane and Daniel; a brother; and a sister.

Graveside service at noon Wednesday, December 23, 2020, in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
