Pauline Ruth “Pam” Armellani, 84, of Rockford passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, in her son’s home, surrounded by family. Born May 9, 1933, in Black Rock, AR, the daughter of Otis and Audie (Jackson) Bennett. Married Albert "Jack" Armellani on December 3, 1954, in Rockford. Employed by Sears for 43 years. Member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. The most important to Pam were family, friends and church. She enjoyed gardening and crafting. Pam had a “green thumb” and could grow anything. People would stop and admire her beautiful flowers and gardens. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Randy) Johnson; son, Tim (Susan) Armellani; grandchildren, Amber (Bobby) Senn, Brittany (Timmy) Moshier and Jacob (fiancée, Meghan Conley) Armellani; great-grandchildren, Bryson Senn, Alaina Senn and Libby Moshier; brother, Lehman (Wanda) Bennett; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; sister, Pearline Weaver; and niece, Pam Hall. Special thanks to Megan Johnson and Heartland Hospice for their care and support.
Service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28, in Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1829 North Rockton Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
