Paul Sherbon

October 26, 1948 — May 25, 2024

Paul “Paulski” E. Sherbon, 75, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024.  Born October 26, 1948, in Arkansas City, KS, the son of Harry J. and Geneva (Butler) Sherbon.  Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1967.  He married Judith “Judy” M. McCollom on June 15, 1968, in Loves Park, IL.  Employed by Nelson-Carlson Mechanical where he started working at the age of 14, retiring in 2005.  Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church.  Paul enjoyed cooking, socializing with his Whiffletree friends and had a love for new trucks.  He was an avid Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  Survivors include his wife, Judy; sons, Tony (Tonsha) Sherbon and Joe Sherbon; grandchildren, Ali (Jake Wilson) Sherbon, Anthony (Jaden Quast) Sherbon, Hannah (Troy King) Sherbon, and Tanner Sherbon; brother-in-law, Dave (Mel) McCollom.  Predeceased by his parents; brother-in-law, Bob McCollom; and loving dog, Whitney.

Visitation from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024, in Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park.  Graveside service at 10 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2024, in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park.
