Paul Joseph Klikno

Paul Joseph Klikno, 75, of Rockford, IL, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, in his home. Born September 15, 1946, in Rockford, the son of John and Priscilla (Davis) Klikno. Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Married Christy Armour on June 3, 1989. Formerly employed in the fastener industry for many years and retired from Mondelez International. Paul enjoyed fishing, golfing, spending time at his cabin, camping, going to the racetrack, and eating out for breakfast with his family. Avid Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Dale Earnhardt fan. Paul was known for his great BBQ chicken. Survivors include his wife, Christy; children, Greg (Dorothy), Steve, and Rich Klikno; grandchildren, Jhona, Jacob, Justine, Zach, and Chantel; great-grandchildren, Adrian, Adalynn, and Stella; sisters, Holly (Jerry) James, and Lorri Jenkins; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Rocky. Predeceased by his parents; and stepfather, Carl Johnson.

Service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from noon to service time. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
