Patricia G. (Kelly) Rodden, 71, of Loves Park, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017, in her home, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her loving son by her side. Born April 29, 1946, in Rockford, the daughter of Leo L. and Jeanne L. (Garman) Kelly. Formerly married to Joseph P. Falzone. Married Kenneth R. “Kenny Ray” Rodden on February 28, 1980. Employed as a server by Lino’s, a hostess at Michaels and also worked at Metal Cutting Tools. Avid Chicago Cubs fan. She loved being outside in the sun and traveling. Survivors include her children, Laurie (Wm) Wood, Joseph Falzone, III, Ken (Tonya) Rodden, Jr., Rodney (Shelby) Rodden and David (Brandy) Rodden; grandchildren, Nikki, Parker, Andrew and Alex Rodden; 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and brother, Michael Kelly. To her family, Patricia was the ultimate woman who never put her head down in defeat.
Service at noon Saturday, November 18, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 11 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
