Patricia Polhamus

Patricia A. Polhamus, 85, of Galena, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020, in Dubuque, Iowa. Born October 29, 1935, in Decatur, the daughter of Elmer and Grace Townson. Married Keith A. Polhamus on November 27, 1954, in Rockford. She was a great cook who loved baking, especially Christmas cookies. Pat loved going to casinos and playing the slots. She loved playing cards with family if she won. Survivors include her children, Ken (Marcia) Polhamus, Debbie (Rick) Merryman, and Michael Havens; grandchildren, Kenny (Connie Paris) Polhamus, Mike (Sherri) Polhamus and Randall Waite; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Patricia Cadie; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Private family burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park. A celebration of life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
