Patricia “Pat” Aileen (Dodd) Jensen, 90, of Loves Park passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Lincolnshire Place with family at her side. Pat was born at home on June 28, 1931, in Artesian, S.D., the daughter of Willis and Esther (Witzel) Dodd. At the age of 13 she moved with her family to the Monroe Center, IL, area where she graduated from Monroe Center High School, Class of 1949. Pat married her sweetheart, Spencer E. Jensen on November 11, 1951, at her parent’s home in Monroe Center. Together they raised their family in the Machesney Park area. She enjoyed planning adventures, such as camping, snowmobiling, boating, motorcycling and big holiday gatherings. She was employed by Barber Colman, retiring in 1988, and enjoyed her retirement years with family and friends golfing, fishing, playing cards and traveling. Survivors include her son, Kevin (Susan) Jensen of Caledonia; daughters, Kim (Gary) Aagesen of Parkville, MO, Karla (Nick) Argeroudis of Oconomowoc, WI, Karen (Mike) Moyer of Roscoe, and Kelly (David) Nelson of Loves Park: who will miss her easy and out-going personality, her devotion to family and willingness to help as well as her fun sense of humor; grandchildren, Briana (Nate) Gorell, Kyle Jensen, Danniale (Jeremy) Flowers, Nathan (Sue), Aagesen, Lindsey Aagesen, Haley (Stephen) Moegenberg, Gage Argeroudis, Morgan (Nathan) Proud, Megan Moyer, Melissa Moyer; several great-grandchildren; sister, Margarette (Peggy) Case; brother, Gerald (Kathy) Dodd; sisters-in-law, Neva Dodd and Patty Dodd; brother-in-law, Dave Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; brothers, Norman Dodd and Willis Dodd, Jr.; sisters, Donna Lawson, Kay Rippentrop, and Rae Thompson.
Service at noon August 6, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
