Pamela “Pam” Sue Colwell, 62, of Roscoe, IL, forever 29 at heart, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in her home. She was born on Saturday, September 28, 1963, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Harold Noble and Ada Whitehorn. Pam’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in this world and was incredibly proud of each of them. Being their mom and grandma was her most cherished role. Her love was unconditional, steady, and strong. Pam also had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs. They brought her comfort and happiness, and she cared for them as part of her family. Her gentle heart extended to all animals and those she loved. Pam leaves behind her beloved children, Kristopher Zaugg, Justin (Lisa) Zaugg, and Lindsay (Matthew) Knight; her treasured grandchildren, Zaylee Zaugg, Zadie Zaugg, Emma Knight, Shaylin Zaugg, Jameson Zaugg, and Braxton Knight; father, Harold Noble; siblings, Harold (Denise) Noble, Angela (Mike Hoiten) Lykkebak, Audrea (Ken) Thompson, and Jim (Jenna) Henvick; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Pam was preceded in death by her mother, Ada Whitehorn; her stepmother, Jeanette Noble; and her beloved grandson, Jaxon Zaugg.
