Norman Yetterberg, Jr.

Norman W. “Butch” Yetterberg, Jr., 76 of Machesney Park, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016, in his home. Born February 10, 1939, in Rockford, son of Norman W. and Betty (Gallagher) Yetterberg, Sr. Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Married Susan Anderson in Rockford, January 21, 1961. Retired from National Lock. Member of GPS Faith Community. Survivors include his wife, Sue; children, Kay (Bob)Yetterberg-Cole, Jake (Kim) Yetterberg, and Wendy (Nick) Woodland; grandchildren, Marley Yetterberg, Shelby (Seth) Fowler, Kelsey Smith, Trevor Yetterberg, Sienna, Ava and Teagan Woodland; sisters, Penny (Tom) Greenberg and Trish Cielesz; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

Services at 5:30 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2016, in GPS Faith Community Church, 10714 N. 2nd St., Machesney Park, with visitation from 4 p.m. to time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
