Nola L. Loftis, 85, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, in her home. Born January 18, 1938, in LaCrosse, WI, the daughter of Harold and Minola (Horne) Naber. Married Harold E. Loftis, on August 24, 1962, in Rockford. Active member of Evans United Methodist Church. Nola had a green thumb. She loved plants and flowers. Survivors include her daughter, Julie (Rich) Kryder; son, Mike (Karen) Bunders; grandchildren, Christina, Michael, Jerry, Alex, Kayla, and Jared; several great-grandchildren; brother, Philip Naber; sisters, Phyllis Melenas, Alexis Jo (Mike) Thomas, and Mary (Steve) Thomas. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and son, Jerry Bunders.
Services were private. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Northern Illinois Hospice.
