Muriel Lou Zegunis

Muriel Lou Zegunis, 88, of Roscoe, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Born on Friday, October 29, 1937, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Harold and Alice (Johnson) Nelson. Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She married James Francis Zegunis, on May 23, 1959. She was a porcelain China painter and loved spending time in her garden. Muriel volunteered at the River Bluff Nursing Home Gardens. Survivors include her husband, James; children, Elaine (John) Diehl, Laura (Jeff) Bremer, Daniel (Paola) Zegunis, and David Zegunis; grandchildren, Genna Popham, William Cramer, and Morgan Cramer; great-grandchild, Aiden Popham. Predeceased by her parents.
