Michelle "Shell" Johnson

Michelle “Shell” A. Johnson, 53, of Rockford passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born November 8, 1962, in Rockford, the daughter of Russell O. and Diane (Fannan) Wood. Married David Johnson. She enjoyed spending time with family and the outdoors. Survivors include her husband, David; sons, Chad Johnson, Brad (Angie Leonard) Johnson, Andy Shatsar and Brandon Shatsar; brother, Russ Wood; brother-in-law, Phil Mauro; nephews, Dalton and Mason. Predeceased by her parents; and sister, Becky Mauro.

Visitation from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Private burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
