Michael D. Prindle, 74, of Apopka, Florida, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Born May 17, 1942, in Pontiac, Illinois, the son of William and Camilla (Johnson) Prindle. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Married Judith McLachlan on June 16, 1979, in Rockton. Employed by Motorola for over 20 years, retiring in 1981. Michael loved spending time with family. He also enjoyed boating in Florida, building model sailboats, fishing and swimming. Survivors include daughter, Virginia “Ginger” (Bill) Blythe; grandchildren, David (Myrena Dawes) Higginbotham, Daniel (Hailey Badon) Higginbotham, Sierra (Nathan Gill) Higginbotham; step-grandchildren, Preston Blythe, Britni (Auston) Gore and Terry Blythe; great-grandchildren, Avaianna, Anthony, Alijah, Alden, Aeden and Ashton; brother, Scott (Marsha) Prindle; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents and wife.
Memorial service at noon Saturday, January 14, 2017, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, Illinois, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to service time Saturday in the funeral home. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
