Michael J. Duncan, 68, of Rockford, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Born April 30, 1954, in Rockford, the son of Francis J. and Evelyn M. (Wachal) Duncan. Graduated from Boylan High School, Class of 1972. Employed by Rock Valley Oil Company for more than 25 years, retiring in 2021. Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Michael loved automobiles, road racing, boating, and traveling. Survivors include his loving companion, Norma Kamler; brother, James (Jan) Duncan; nephews, Bryan (Karen) Duncan; niece, Kim (Bill) Andrews; great-nephews, Brett and Zachary; great-nieces, Ashley, Jenna, Mackenzie. Predeceased by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
