Melinda J. Blade, 55, of Loves Park passed away Monday, February 6, 2017, in Forest City Rehab & Nursing Center. Born December 22, 1961, in Rockford, daughter of Milard and Vida A. (Creek) Blade. Survivors include daughter, Lydia (Ryan) Trombley; sisters, Laura (Dennis) Forrest, Jo Ann (Junior) Pruitt, Mildred Pruitt and Nancy (Curtis) Lighthart; brother, Gene Blade; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Predeceased by son, Greg Lee Galbreath; sister, Helen Holland; and brothers, Donald, Johnie and Michael Blade.
Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
