Max Keeling

Max L. Keeling, 85, of Machesney Park passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. Born May 10, 1935, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Vale H. and Dorothy M. (Wright) Keeling. Graduated from West High School, Class of 1954. Married Harriett Wilke on February 6, 1955, in Rockford. Retired from Barber-Colman. Member of Third Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing trips to Canada, target shooting and traveling. Max loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Harriett; daughter, Valerie (Hazem) Diab; grandson, Tyseer Diab; sister, Sharon (C. Ray) Miller of Fountain City, Ind. The family wishes to thank the staff at Provena St. Anne Center and OSF Hospice for their care and compassion.
