Matthew Estes

Matthew Douglas Estes, 36, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, in his home. Born February 27, 1980, in Fort Collins, Colorado, the son of Steven and Christine (Ackerman) Estes. Matthew enjoyed photography and loved his family. He was an avid Cubs, Denver Broncos and Blackhawks fan. Survivors include his children, Breanna and Steven Estes; mother, Chris Sherrard; sister, Dana (Marc) Gonzalez; niece, Mariah Galindo; nephew, Lyam Estes; former wife, Amanda Estes; stepbrother, Karel (Marisa) Vlasak; and grandmother, Nancy. Predeceased by his father; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandfather.

Memorial service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 5 p.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
