Marybelle Thrasher, 91, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. Born April 20, 1931, in Rockford, the daughter of James and Anna (Manley) Weir. Attended West High School. Married Paul Thrasher, on September 11, 1948, in Rockford. Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, and traveling. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Lisa Thrasher of Durand, IL; grandson, Cody Northrup of Janesville, WI; sister-in-law, Sandy Weir of Rockford; 1 nephew; and 6 nieces. Predeceased by her parents; husband; sons, Douglas, and Thomas; brothers, James, Thomas, and Junior; sisters, Rosie, and Gloria; nephew, Jim Hines; niece, Darlene Meyers.
Private services will be held with burial in Arlington Memorial Park. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Par, IL.
