Mary "Suzy" Willard

Mary “Suzy” Sue (Cadwell) Willard, 65, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019, in her home. She was born December 24, 1953, in Rockford, the daughter of William “Bill” H. and Edith E. (Carlson) Cadwell. She married her love Marvin Willard on June 13, 1982. Member of Grace Lutheran Church. She loved to read, watch Hallmark movies, crochet and cook. She was a “community Mom” who would help anyone in need. Suzy worried about others more than herself and always went above and beyond. She lovingly nicknamed her son and best friend “Matt-Man”, with whom she loved to end her night with a joint. Mary is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, Matt “Matt-Man” (Carmen) Willard, Amy Willard, Mary (Rodney) Jensen, Michael (Charlene) Widell and Mark (Tina) Widell and Susan (Chris); grandchildren, Jayse and Jaylin Willard, Cyrus, Malikai, Amaya, Cameron, Anastasia and Izabella Willard, Jasmine, Ashley and Brock Jensen, Aryssa, Evan, Jack, Onyx, Cloie, Brianna and Angelica Widell and Blake; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis “Denny” (Pam) Cadwell; nieces, Jennifer, Dawn and Lori; close friends, Nate, Shayne, Curtis and Joyce. Predeceased by her parents; grandson Caleb; great-granddaughters, Amelia and Zoe in infancy. Special thanks to “Matt-Man” for his tender, loving care, sacrifices and unconditional love.
