Mary Sager

Mary N. Sager, 94, of Rockford, passed away peacefully Friday, September 10, 2021.  Born December 7, 1926, in Centralia, the daughter of Arthur and Anna Lois (Knauss) Tottingham.  Graduated from Pecatonica High School.  Married John A. Sager on September 30, 1972, in Loves Park.  Employed by J.C. Penney for many years.  Member of Grace Lutheran Church.  She loved crocheting, making quilts and blankets for others.  Survivors include her sons, Russell (Jodi) Ryks, Randy (Kathy) Ryks; grandchildren, Derrick (Sara), Trevor (Angela), Heather, Todd, Mary, Jon, and Jenny Ryks, and David (Stacey) Macchi; great-grandchildren, Jason, Andrew, Zion, Zarya, Vallory, Landon, Charity, Philip, Charleigh, and Ronnie.  Predeceased by her husband; and sons, Ronald and Richard Ryks.  Family wishes to thank Theresa for her love and care.

Service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 1 p.m. to service time.  Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Lutheran Church.
