Mary Radant

Mary L. Radant, 91, of Machesney Park passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Born February 10, 1927, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Charles V. and Irene (Simpkins) Wirtanen.  Married Kenneth W. Radant on April 15, 1950, in Oregon, IL.  Employed by Johnson Press.  Member of VFW Auxiliary.  Survivors include her children, Diane Thomas, Larry (Helen) Radant, Patricia (Milt) Schwanke and Kenneth Radant, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lisa Radant; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Herchel and Violet Dolatowski; many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her husband; sons, Roger and Douglas; and sisters, Irene, Verna, Daisey and Lenora.

Graveside service at 10 a.m. Monday, March 5, in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
