Mary Sue Parkman, 87, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at Symphony Northwoods Care Center. Born February 18, 1936, in Parma, MO, the daughter of Dennis and Opal (Disbennet) Rodgers. She married Thomas Parkman, on October 2, 1954, in Hernando, MS. Retired from National Lock. Member of North Love Baptist Church. She loved garage sales, going on trips, and visiting people in hospitals and nursing homes. Mary was a very giving person who made food if neighbors were sick. She loved the Lord above all else. Survivors include her children, Ruthie Lee Pratt, and Jeffrey (Gwen) Parkman and their children; sisters, Bonnie Miller and Margaret Melton; and many nieces and nephews; special friends, Hugh Wise and Julette Wade. Predeceased by her parents; and husband. Special thanks to Julette for her loving care.
