Mary Meehan

Mary L. Meehan, 77, of Machesney Park was called home Sunday, January 3, 2021.  Born August 4, 1943, in Nashville, TN, the daughter of James and Gladys Mills.  Married to Bob Meehan on December 9, 1961, in Chicago.  Employed by Martin Automation for 10 years.  Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church.  Avid Chicago Cubs fan.  She enjoyed reading.  Mary loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Survivors include her husband, Bob; son, Michael Meehan of Madison, Wis.; daughter, Peggy (Chad) Hargraves of Machesney Park; grandchildren, Tad Meehan of Machesney Park, Garrett (Courtney) Hargraves of Loves Park, Brock Hargraves of Machesney Park, Connor (Allison) Hargraves of Kirkland, Brennon Hargraves of Machesney Park and Braedon Hargraves of Machesney Park; great-grandchildren, Liam, Payton, Canaan, Ezra and Ireland Hargraves; sister, Betty Tomasello of Loves Park; several nieces and nephews; and loving companion, Buster.  Predeceased by her parents.  Thanks to family and friends for your love and support.

Memorial walk through visitation from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with social distancing and face coverings required.  Private family memorial services will be held.
