Mary Coletta

Mary Ann Coletta, 58, of Rockford passed away Friday, February 24, 2017, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born June 7, 1958, in Rockford, the daughter of Gus H. and Cecilia E. (Kleczewski) Dahl.  Graduated from Boylan High School and Rock Valley College.  Married David Coletta on August 27, 1983, in Loves Park.  Employed by Swedish American Hospital.  She was very involved with the special Olympics.  Mary had a beautiful smile, wonderful sense of humor, loved animals and cared very much for her family and friends.  Survivors include her son, Christopher Coletta, who was the light of her life; sister, Patricia Dahl; numerous cousins; and aunt, Dorothy Kleczewski.  Predeceased by her parents; husband; and brother, Steven.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road, Rockford, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation also from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
