Mary Joy Bridges

Mary Joy Bridges, 86, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in her home. She was born on Tuesday, November 21, 1939, in Caruthersville, MO, the daughter of Walter Edward and Clara Mae (Scurlock) Spray. She married Albert Frank Bridges Jr. on June 18, 1984, in Las Vegas, NV. Mary loved spending time with her family; they meant everything to her. She enjoyed playing softball and loved to cook. Mary had a heart of gold and would give her all to family. Survivors include her sons, Rickey Yoho, Terry Yoho, Darrell Yoho, Doug Yoho, and Sherman Yoho; grandchildren, Mindy Yoho, Krystal Yoho, Teairha Wickson, Gerald Yoho, Steven Yoho, Alannah Yoho, Joshua Johnson, and Amy Yoho; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Mathis, and Ruby Workman; brothers, Leonard Spray and Ira Spray; numerous nieces and nephews; and Carroll Yoho, father of her children and lifelong friend. Predeceased by her parents; husband; sons, Kenneth Scott Yoho and Carroll Joe Yoho; sisters, Dorothy Graham and Arti Sanders; and brothers, Johnny Spray and Roy Spray.

Service at 11 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, IL.
