Marvin D. Willard, 74, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in his home surrounded by family. Born January 15, 1951, in Rural Retreat, VA, the son of James “Jim” Albert and Ozella (Shupe) Willard. He married Mary Sue “Suzy” Cadwell on June 13, 1982, in Rockford. Employed by USPS for 22 years, retiring in 2014. Marvin enjoyed reading, watching the news and a cold beer. Survivors include his children, Matthew “Matt-Man” Willard and Amy Willard; grandchildren, Cyrus Willard, Malikai Willard, Amaya Hendricks, Cameron Hendricks, Anastasia Willard, Isabella Willard, Jasmine Jensen, Ashley Jensen, and Brock Jensen; numerous great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, James “Jim” and Ozella Willard; and wife, Mary Sue “Suzy” Cadwell.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
