Martha J. Dauenbaugh, 86, of Roscoe went to Heaven, November 23, 2019. Born April 18, 1933, in Rockford, the daughter of Francis and Rose (Napoli) Montalbano. Married Thomas R. Dauenbaugh on June 1, 1951, in Big Fork, Minnesota. Employed throughout the years at Nelson’s Sock Factory, Tom’s Black Dirt, and Stateline Storage. Owned Circle D with her husband during the early 1960’s. Member of St. Anthony of Padua. Martha was very talented at crocheting, often traveling with her husband in their motorhome to craft shows around the Midwest to sell her work. Although there was nothing she could not make, her specialty was angels. A very talented cook and baker, Martha loved cooking for friends and family and made sure to always keep her freezer and pantry well stocked. Besides traveling in their motorhome, Martha and her husband spent winters in their home in Sebring, Florida. Survivors include children, Rita Sutton, Glen Dauenbaugh, Laura Dauenbaugh, and Lina (Gary) Taylor; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren with one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband; son, Thomas Dauenbaugh; siblings, Benny Montalbano, Joe Montalbano, Steve “Babe” Montalbano, Nancy Bambino, Leona Markise, Mary Perrone, Rose Faualora; and loving canine companions, Mindy and Toto. The family wishes to thank Mercy Home Hospice, especially Veronica, for their loving care.
