Marley Rey Yetterberg, 27, of Erie, IL, was called to Heaven on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1997, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Robert Owens and Kay Yetterberg. Graduated from Hononegah High School, Class of 2016. Marley began her career at Highview in the Woodlands, Rockton, IL. She moved to Erie and continued her path at DD Homes, and most recently by The ARC of the Quad Cities, demonstrating her passion and dedication to caring for people. Member of GPS Faith Community Church and Erie Evangelical Free Church. Marley volunteered at Kings Kloset and regularly filled blessing boxes in Sterling, IL, and in the Quad City area. She enjoyed thrifting, sporting events, Six Flags, ATV riding and reading. Survivors include her mother, Kay Yetterberg of Texas; father, Robert (Julie) Owens of Loves Park; siblings, Christian Cole, Amber (Ryan) Roberts, Kelsey (Denise) Christianson, John “Nik” (Sonia) Hood, Emma Owens, and Zachary (Ali) Evans; paternal grandparents, Earl (Sandra) Owens, Sr.; grandmother, Joan Hurd; fiancé, Braxtin Chesmore of Erie, IL; loving fur-baby, Mollie; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert W. Cole; maternal grandparents, Norman and Susan Yetterberg; nephew, Keegan Bock.
Memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2025, at GPS Faith Community Church, 11189 Forest Hills Road, Machesney Park, IL, with a memorial visitation from 4 p.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her name.
