Marlene Walton

Marlene A. Walton, 86, of Loves Park passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 20, 2018, surrounded by her family. Born April 28, 1931, the daughter of Donald and Ruth (Schaetzle) O'Dell.  Married William Walton on July 1, 1950.  Former longtime member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.  Current member of Christ the Rock Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, knitting and crocheting.  Marlene loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Survivors include her children, Brian (Pam) Walton, Lorri (Frank) Papke, Leanne (Ed) Keeling and Julie (Curt) Evans; daughter-in-law, Marlene Rupp; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jan (Ron) Gilbert; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her husband; and son, Brad Walton.  The family would like to thank Lincolnshire Place and Transitions Hospice
