Mark "Casey" Rainwater

Mark “Casey” J. Rainwater, 97, of Rockford passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born September 5, 1923, in Mount Vernon, Illinois, the son of Mark and Leo Nadine (Padgett) Rainwater. Casey worked as a charter bus driver through the age of 87. He was a hard worker, a frequent patron of the Stockholm Inn and had a charismatic personality. He loved his many grand and great-grandchildren and was blessed with two great-great-granddaughters. Survivors include his children, Rv Charles (Brenda) Rainwater, Linda (Mike) Lynch, Michael Rainwater, and Paul Rainwater; grandchildren, Eric (Bonnie) Nofsinger, Rachel (Chris) Smith, Michele (Jed) Falgren, Chaz (Sunny) Rainwater, and Joshua Rainwater, whom he raised; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; siblings, Fay (Rose) Rainwater, Nancy Register, and Patty Godden. Predeceased by his daughter, Connie Rainwater.
