Mark S. Fenn, 63, of Rockford, IL, answered his mother’s call on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Born June 14, 1961, in Rockford, the son of Jerry “Mike” and Delores (Plumb) Fenn. Graduated from Jefferson High School, Class of 1979. Veteran serving in the U.S. Marines. He married Cynthia K. Beksel on September 2, 1989, in Rockford. Retired from Local 281, working as a sprinkler fitter. Member of Eagles Club, American Legion in Rockford, SM&SF Club, Navy Club and Moose Club. He enjoyed golfing, bowling (bowled a 300 game), fishing, playing softball, water volleyball, fat man rollovers, and was a 2-fisted drinker. Avid Chicago Cubs and Oakland Raiders fan. Survivors include his wife, Cindi; brothers, Mike (Darcie) Fenn of Rockford and Matt (Cindy) Fenn of Hoffman Estates, IL; nephew, Michael Fenn; nieces, Megan “Megamoo” Fenn, and Emily “Emmabugs” Fenn; best friend, his dog, Samson; special friends, Monte, Kaz, and Joe. Predeceased by his parents; and many beloved pets. Mark and Cindi would like to thank Kathi Miller for all the time, prayers, and love.
Celebration of Life will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at SM&SF Club, 1010 Sandy Hollow Road, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Loves Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
