Marjorie R. Bressler, 92, of Machesney Park passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020. Born May 19, 1928, in Rockford, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Zander) Barton. Married Jack B. Bressler on April 15, 1946, in Belvidere. Employed by Rockford Screw Products. She enjoyed crafting, especially painting ceramics, crocheting, needlework, puzzles, crosswords, word searches, reading and collecting books. Marjorie loved being with her family, watching the food network and Wheel of Fortune. She enjoyed dancing with Jack and was the life of the party. Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Jim) Gentry, Gayle (Tim) French, Pam (David) Smith and Jackie (Denny) Hayenga; son, Chuck (Kathy) Bressler; grandchildren, Kurt, Jessica, Kyle, Craig, Jeff, Carrie and Kim; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Barton and William Barton. Predeceased by her parents; husband; grandchildren, Janet Lynn, Sam Jr., Rob and Brenda; brother, Gordon Barton; and son-in-law, Kerby Beehler. Special thanks to the Rick and Brenda Bartscher family for their loving care.

Private family services were held with burial in Lawnridge Cemetery, Rochelle. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
