Marilyn "Lynn" Wells

Marilyn “Lynn” A. Wells, 79, of Loves Park, was called home Sunday, July 10, 2016. Born November 28, 1936, in Butte, MT, the daughter of Elmer Carkeek and Dorothy (Eagleson) Carkeek. Married Bobby Wells. Survivors include her husband, Bob; daughters, Cindy (Larry) Pifer, Vida (Teddy) Koelker and Sandra Tinker, all of Rockford; sons, Bobby Wells of Rockford, Gregg (Elizabeth) Wells of Japan, Christopher (Shannon) Wells of Savannah, GA; 13 grandchildren, Eric, Aaron, Traver, Cody, Cory, Kyle, Amber, Robbie, Andrew, Melanie, Cassandra, Madison, Macy and Gavin; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents and grandson, David Tinker. Family wishes to thank the staff with Visiting Nurses.

Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
