Marie D. Lane, 61, of Pecatonica, IL, passed away on Tuesday May 20, 2025, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born October 13, 1963, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Walter B. and Nelda (Martin) Daer. She married Marvin Lane Jr., on August 21, 1982, in Loves Park, IL. Employed by Concentric, Rockford and formerly by the Pecatonica School District. Marie loved camping, scrapbooking, crocheting, being a great cook, her daughter's Girl Scout Leader, supporting her grandsons in Boy Scouts, and spending time with her husband. Survivors include her husband, Marvin; daughters, Kristina Lane and Sara (Lane) Menge; grandchildren, Jayson, Izike, Hunter, and Grayson; brothers; Donald, Ralph, and Mark Daer. Predeceased by parents and brother, Darwin.

Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial at Roscoe Township Cemetery.
