Maria Trinidad Ramos, 82, of Rockford passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019, in Alden Alma Nelson. Born Tuesday, June 16, 1936, in Urireo, Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Geronimo and Maura (Pena) Zepeda. Married Jose Ramos on January 10, 1970, in Urireo, Guanajuato, Mexico. Member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Maria loved to knit, sew, crochet and cook for her family. Survivors include husband, Jose; daughters, Juanita Ramos and Carmen (Anastacio) Mendez; grandchildren, Arian, Iris, Abram and Damian; siblings, Guadalupe Lara, Francisco (Imelda) Zepeda and Angela Zepeda; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Juan Zepeda, Daniel Zepeda, David Zepeda, Eufracia Zepeda and Teresa Zepeda; and brother-in-law, Salvador Lara.

Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Burial in Urireo, Guanajuato, Mexico.
