Margery Dean

Margery I. Dean, 82, of Rockford was reunited with her husband and daughter Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Born July 5, 1935, in Livonia, MO, the daughter of Robert and Nina (Ray) Shrake. Married Jerry Dean on November 25, 1954. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Rockford 2nd Ward. She loved painting, writing poems, watching the jewelry channel, children and babies. Survivors include her granddaughters, Ebony (Ian) Stretch and Samantha Laube; sisters, Louise Huggens, Sandra Dunaway and Debra Swan; brothers, Ruben (Darlene) Withrow and Charles (Brenda) Withrow; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband; daughter, Vicki Laube; sister, Dorothy Corneilison; and brothers, Darl Shrake and Parker Withrow.

Service at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 324 University Drive, Rockford, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Unionville, MO. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., of Loves Park.
