Marcia “Marcy” I. Anthony, 82, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. Born September 23, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, IA, the daughter of Marvin and Helen (Wilcoxson) Stafford. Graduated from East High School, Class of 1959. She married Dennis Anthony on December 7, 1968, in Belvidere, IL. Employed by West Bend Mutual for 18 years, retiring in 2001. Her husband and family were her life. After retirement, she traveled throughout the United States with her husband. Marcia enjoyed painting and crocheting. Survivors include the love of her life, Dennis; her children, Lisa (Marty) Whitmore of Missoula, MT, Shannon (Cheyenne) Tetzlaff of Roscoe, and Rick Anthony of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Connor Whitmore, Riley Whitmore, Emma (Alex Brogan) Tetzlaff, and Brayden Tetzlaff; siblings, Steve (Sung-Hui) Stafford, Jon Stafford, Jim Stafford, and Sandra Stafford; sister-in-law, Sue (Doug) Anderson; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents.

Graveside service at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Winnebago Cemetery, 2824 Westfield Road, Winnebago, IL, with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. in Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. The family has requested no flowers.
