M. Pearson

Maxine Treu-Pearson, 94, of Rockford passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017. Born August 17, 1922, in Rathbun, IA, daughter of Guy W. and Fern M. (Cline) McDanel. Lived most of her life in Rockford and Mesa, AZ. Married the love of her life, Don Treu in 1965, and were together for 30 years until his death in 1995.  Life member of Ladies VFW Auxiliary.  She was a talented homemaker, good cook, career woman and enjoyed golfing.  Survivors include her children, Dewayne Foster, Teddy (LouAnne) Foster and Dorothy (Frank) Verdina; daughter-in-law, Gayle Foster; stepchildren, Sue (Gerald) Keeny, Peggy (Richard) King, Mary (David) Coriossi and Greg Treu; 24 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by her sons, Carl B. Foster and Tom Treu.  Special thank you to River Bluff Nursing Home for their loving care.
