Lydia “Merrie” M. Stram, 99, of Loves Park passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, in Amberwood Care Center. Born December 17, 1922, in Olean, MO, the daughter of Roy and Letha (Leahr) Procter. Retired from Woodward Governor after more than 25 years. Member of Riverside Community Church for more than 60 years. Lydia enjoyed crocheting, quilting, cooking, and baking. Survivors include her son, Bradley Stram; grandchildren, Jason (Darla) Stram, Erik (Charisse) Stram, Liz (Steve) Johnson, and Lindsay Stram; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Kinzee, Blake, Kaitee, and Alivia; daughter-in-law, Avis Stram. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Earl Stram; son, Jeffery Stram; three brothers; one sister.
Service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, in Riverside Community Church, 6816 North 2nd Street, Machesney Park, with visitation from noon to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church.
