He was born on Thursday, November 8, 1962, in Rockford, IL, the son of Raymond Philip and Oklene Othello (Morrison) Mauro. Louis was an active member of the Mason and Shriners. Survivors include his sisters, Mary Sayers and Barb Mauro; brothers, Phil Mauro, Robert Mauro and Ron Mauro; niece Baylee Mauro; nephews, Greg Mauro, Bruce (Jessie) Mauro, Dalton (Brittney) Mauro, and Mason Mauro. Predeceased by his parents.
Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded. Inurnment at a later date in Willwood Burial Park, Rockford, IL.
