Lloyd Edwards, Jr.

Lloyd A. Edwards, Jr., 82, of West Liberty, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in his home. Born May 22, 1935, in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Lloyd A. and Elsa H. (Anderson) Edwards, Sr.  Graduated from West High School, Class of 1954.  Veteran of the U.S. Army.  Married Regina Milne; later married Diane Oldenburger.  Employed by Brunswick for many years and went on to own several bowling centers.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and bowling.  Survivors include his children, Robert “Bob” (Vickie) Edwards of California, Troy (Greer) Edwards of Ohio and Michelle (Brian) Humphrey of Iowa; grandchildren, Aubrey, Chad (Tiffany), Denielle (Jake), Jeremy, Brooke, Christopher, Andrew, Mariah (Derek), Joshua, Justin and Morgan; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley (Diane) Edwards of Florida and John (Debbi) Edwards of Illinois; sister, Barbara (Darrell) Anderson of South Dakota; many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents; an infant child; and his loving companion, Karen Roth.

Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Spring Valley Bible Camp, 2858 180th Street, Muscatine, Iowa, 52781.
