Lloyd William Johnson, Sr., 81, of Lake Havasu City, AZ, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV. He was born April 16, 1943, in Walnut Ridge, AR, the firstborn son of Walter F. and Willie L. (Wallace) Johnson. Lloyd’s life was a testament to his love for family and adventure. He married the love of his life, Donna Claudy, on March 14, 1964, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. The couple finally settled in Lake Havasu City in 1990, where they embraced the beauty of the desert. Lloyd's passions were as diverse as they were enduring. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from the thrill of fishing and camping to the tranquility of traveling. When he was at home, you could find him tinkering in his workshop on all kinds of projects from fixing up sewing machines to making wooden toys for the grandkids. Most importantly, he cherished the time spent with his loved ones. His warm smile, quick wit, and kind heart made him a beloved figure to all who knew him. Survivors include his loving wife, Donna; their chi1dren, Lloyd William (Kenya) Johnson, Lee (Kris) Johnson, Lisa (Geoff) Drost, and Vellinda (Scott) Kelly; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Linda Bade, Brenda (Bob) Baxter, Jim (Mary) Johnson, and Bill Johnson. He was predeceased by his parents, Willie and Walter Johnson; and his brother, David. Lloyd will always be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
