Lloyd Hawkinson

Lloyd A. Hawkinson, 78, of Belvidere passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016, in his home. Born October 2, 1937, in LaFarge, WI., the son of Leon and Florence (Steinmetz) Hawkinson. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Married Lois Pippin May 19, 1962, in Beloit, WI. Employed by Sundstrand Aerospace for 44 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Journey Church. Survivors include his wife, Lois; daughters, Paula Hawkinson, Julie (Mike) White and Sarah (Scott) Sigler; grandchildren, Byron Hawkinson, Patrick and Matthew Shanahan, Kayla Swanson, Kaitlyn and Emily Sigler; great-grandchildren, Aidan Collins and Thomas Smith; brothers, Irvin and Norman Hawkinson; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; brothers, Henry, Leo and Stanley; and sister, Anna Olson.

Service at 11:30 a.m. March 4, in Journey Church, 7825 Forest Hills Road, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, South Beloit. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
