Linda K. Brown, 84, of Rockford, IL, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Born February 24, 1940, in White Hall, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Lillie (Day) Thompson. She married James “Jim” A. Brown, on May 12, 1956. Linda enjoyed bingo, and trips to Las Vegas playing the slots. Avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and Green Bay Packer fan, where Brett Farve was her favorite player. Survivors include her sons, Steven (Connie) Brown of Las Vegas, and Stuart (Paula) Brown of Rockford; daughter, Kelly (Todd Maney) Brown of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Mellissa Clemmons, Derek Brown, Devin Weiland, Brenna (Eddie) Mejia, Alec Weiland, Olivia Maney, and Kolbi Maney; great-grandchildren, Arabella and Kylian. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and loving fur baby, Ginger. The family wishes to thank the staff at River Bluff Nursing Home in the dove unit for their loving care.

Visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. Inurnment at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
