Linda Brass

Linda Louise Brass, 71, of Rochelle passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021, in Rochelle Community Hospital.  Born May 21, 1949, in Southampton, England, the daughter of Charles and Helen (Davis) Knight.  Employed as a journalist writing for The Observer.  Longtime member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church.  Member of Scottish County Dancing Club, Daughters of the British Empire, Northern Illinois Newspaper Association and Northwest Quarterly.  She loved The Beatles, writing, painting, dancing, and nature.  Survivors include daughter, Michelle (Kyle) Brass; son, Anthony Brass; lifelong friend, Sheila; many family and loved ones.  Predeceased by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 4, in St. Edward's Catholic Church, 3004 11th Street, Rockford.  Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.  Please send flowers or memorials to Catholic Charities or EWTN.  Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
