Linda Kay Anderson

Linda Kay Anderson, 69, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in her home. She was born on Monday, February 4, 1957, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Francis and Dixie (Benton) Cline. Linda married her soul mate and best friend Randall “Randy” K. Anderson on October 8, 1994, in her parents’ home in Rockford, IL. They shared a love of fishing. Linda said she could always out fish Randy. She loved spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her job at the North Ridge Wal-Mart where she was employed in the fabric and crafts department. She had a passion for doing crafts. Linda loved talking to customers about everything and they enjoyed talking to her about what crafts were working on. She enjoyed all wildlife, especially watching for all the different birds that would visit the tree out front at her home. She loved gardening, going camping, listening to Elvis and oldies music. Linda enjoyed decorating her yard for Halloween and she got such a kick out of dressing up for the trick-or-treating kids. Survivors include her husband, Randy; sons, Jeremy (Melinda) Hillary, and Steven (Sonia) Hillary; daughter, Taisha Hillary; stepson, Jeramy Anderson; grandchildren, Stephen, Tyler, Cohner, Sebastain, Jonathan, Austin, Merissa, Ashley, Savanna, Cailey, Taylor, Tinsley, Star, Sara Jean, and Allissandra; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Terry Cline; special friends, Teresa Dover, Betty, and Paul; and all her friends and family at North Ridge Wal-Mart. Predeceased by her parents; brother, Kent Cline; grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; pet cat, Timmy; and big dog, Lacy.
