Lavonne M. Hammack, 82, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Amberwood Care Centre. Born October 15, 1942, the daughter of Leonard M. and Merla A. (Wright) Ferguson. She married Larry J. Hammack. Employed by Swedish American Hospital for several years. She loved spending time with family and friends. Lavonne enjoyed boating and music. Survivors include her daughters, Nicole Hammack and Dayna Hammack; grandchildren, Mykelti Weidman and Nathaniel Weidman; and brother, Gary Ferguson. Predeceased by her parents and husband.
Service at 1 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from noon to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, IL.
